The support on the interior of the case has an unreadable name – Moire(?).

Ornate French Slate & Bronze Mantel Clock: With gong strike movement, No. 2205. The case has a cast bronze scene of a Roman parade with horse drawn chariots, elephants, merchants and others above and below the dial.

(The springs are nearly tight. The clock is not running properly at this time.)
