Brass dial has a 5 in. silvered chapter ring with black incised Roman numerals, fancy pierced hands and gilt repousse corner spandrels; brass spring driven movement signed W&H Sch. (Winterhalder & Hofmeier) with brass pendulum and quarter hour strike on 2 coiled gongs. Movement winds, is running & striking, has crank; case has a an old overcoated finish, missing rear finials and the right carved figure has a repair. 19.5 in. high x 13 in. wide x 8 in. deep.

Sch. In an oak case with gilt metal mounts, finials, feet, handles and maidens on the corners. Excellent original finish. 17 in. high x 9.75 in. wide x 7.25 in. deep.
