A South German or Swiss mechanical iron clock with front pendulum and alarm function, dated 1691Rectangular case of sheet iron with the original coloured paint. The dial with Roman numerals, one iron hand, the alarm disc underneath. The lateral movement access doors with representations of the allegorical figures "SOL" and "LUNA". Iron bell cage with leaf-shaped bars and ornamental openwork appliqués. Iron clockwork with pull cord, four wrought-iron weights attached. A ring loop and two pins on the back to attach the clock to the wall. The coloured paint slightly retouched here and there. Dimensions 33 x 13.5 x 15 cm.
