Drocourt, Paris, a good late 19th century enamel paneled grand sonnerie carriage clock, engraved, gilt Gorge case with carrying handle and sides with blue and gold bordered polychrome enamel panels, the right with a young woman cradling a small child, the left with a young woman representing Spring, the roman numeral dial also with matching border surrounding a scene with sky and indistinct landscape, subsidiary alarm chapter, and blued steel hands, signed three train movement with lever platform, sounding petit or grand quarters on two gongs, and repeating the last hour and quarter on demand

A late 19th century brass carriage clock. Having a 2.25″ white dial with Roman hours and Arabic minutes, the timepiece movement, with silvered lever platform escapement, numbered 22000, the corniche case engraved ‘Garrison Athletic Sports Officers 1/4 mile, won by Bernard Currey 1885″ to roof, Height to top of carry handle 5″ (13cm) excluding handle

Condition

Chip and crack to top left hand corner of dial. Front and rear glazed panels have chips to corners. Mechanism requires attention. Fellows do not guarantee the working order or accuracy of any clocks sold.
