Germany, a late 19th century Vienna regulator style year going wall clock, the case with carved, S curved bottom bracket and half round turned drop below a molded surbase with applied pyramid ornaments and recessed panels, the door with split turnings, tapered pilasters with stylized capitals, and frieze with blind fret and flanking corbels supporting a simple molded cornice, and an ogee molded gable surmounted by a stylized, carved shell, two piece roman numeral white enamel dial with fancy blued steel hands, marked "Patent One Year Clock", and with the trade mark of retailer Carl Hermsen, year going fusee timepiece movement with faux gridiron pendulum, the cast bob with lions, scrolls, and center with bust of a bearded man in profile
