France, a late 19th century figural mantel clock with conical pendulum, the alabaster case on toupie feet with cavetto molded base, case sides with naturalistic scroll ornament, the front with foliate ornamented double vasiform columns flanking the gilt, roman numeral dial with blued steel Breguet style hands, and surmounted with a standing female figure with globe at her feet and a locomotive in her right hand, her left held aloft and supporting the conical pendulum with spherical, star mounted bob, and 8 day, two train movement striking the hours and half hour on a bell
