French Boulle & Brass Inlaid Bracket Clock. 12 in. repousee brass dial has large inset porcelain plaques with black Roman hour numerals, outer inserts with Arabic 5 minute markers, porcelain center signed J. Gudin, A Paris and pierced black hands; has a brass spring driven movement with pin pallet escapement and half hour countwheel strike on a silvered bell, movement signed A.D. Mougin. In a large case with matching hanging shelf bracket and domed top with figural finial, has deep red and black boulle with fancy brass inlays and filigree mounts; the large door has a brass frame with figural brass overlay at the bottom, original door glass and side glasses. Clock is in original finish, has some roughness, loss and pulling to the brass inlays, pendulum is a replacement. The clock is 40 in. high x 21.5 in. wide x 7 in. deep, overall height in the bracket is 58 in.

Circa 1860. 8 in. fancy gilt brass dial, has a relief decorated center and black Roman hour numerals on white porcelain inserts, incised outer numbers for minutes, dial signed F. Lesage, Paris, has fancy blued hands. Typical square brass, spring driven, 30 day, French movement with Brocot escapement, gilt brass pendulum with maidens head, half hour strike on a steel bell at the top of the case. French boulle case with swirling brass inlays inside & out with fancy gilt bronze mounts & borders, figure of a woman seated beside an egret with book & oil lamp in her hands and large bronze figure of a winged cherub on a globe. In good running condition. 36 in. high x 16 in. wide x 6 in. deep.

Large French Marble Mantle Clock. 5 in. Recessed porcelain dial with black Roman hour numerals on the chapter ring, black open moon hands, exposed Brocot escapement with jeweled pallets and brass bezel with beveled door glass; typical, round, French, brass movement, signed LÂ Marti & Cie, with bell strike and gilt brass gridiron pendulum. In a large black marble case having a round top with green marble around the bezel, the base has a single door with beveled glass, reeded green marble half columns and carved corbels on the sides. 18.5 in. high x 15 in. wide x 6.5 in. deep.

Large French Figural Cupid Mantle Clock. 3.5 in. porcelain dial signed ÂGrobe, a. ParisÂ has black Roman hour numerals, 5 minute numbers outside, gilt pierced hands and beaded door bezel with convex crystal; typical round French brass 8 day spring driven movement signed Japy Freres, has a half hour strike on a bell. In a large 2 tone gilt and medium brown patina bronze case with large figure of a winged cupid writing on a scroll, he is draped with a golden robe, seated on his bow and quiver of arrows and accompanied by a large dove at his side. Exceptional case in very good condition with no damage, movement is running and striking. 19.5 in. high x 19 in. wide x 14 in. deep. Weight: 67.25 lbs.
