Japy Freres Gilt Bronze Mantel Clock w/Cavalier: The hour and 1/2 hour bell striking movement is No. 40307 and is also marked “HY MARC PARIS”. The dial is marked “Hry Marc Paris”. A cavalier stands by the clock. The open work below them has a floral garland across the front.

Japy Freres French Bronze Mantle Clock. 4 in. bronze dial with a copper tone, has incised Roman hour numerals, fancy gilt hands and brass bezel with beveled door glass; typical round French brass 8 day spring driven movement is signed Japy Freres and has an half hour strike on a steel bell. In a bronze case with figural robed maiden side columns in front of scrolling corbels and gilt highlights. Case has a replaced top finial and a lacquered finish. 17 in. high x 12 in. wide x 6.5 in. deep.

The 4 1/4″ porcelain dial is also signed Deniere Ft De Bronzes- A Paris. The case has a woman, books and scientific instruments on it.

Champleve Clock Set. 3.25 in. gilt bronze dial has painted Roman hour numerals, champlevé enamel decorated center, original black hands, dial signed Shreve Crump & Low, Boston; typical round brass 8 day spring driven movement with half hour strike on a coiled gong and signed Japy Freres. In a French champlevé enamel filigree decorated case in tones of red, blue and white, has swirling bronze filigree borders and seated putti figural finial. 17 in. matching pair of candelabras have champlevé design with 4 flowing candle arms and center candle holder with flame finial. Set is in excellent condition with no breaks, losses cracking or repairs to the enamel. Clock measures 15 in. high x 8 in. wide x 4 in. deep.
