Guilmet Beam Engine French Industrial Clock. This time only spring driven timepiece is wound from the back, the movement is marked “Medaille Dor – G L T – Paris” and numbered 241. It has a 2 in. porcelain dial signed G. Cornell, Paris. The bronze case with silvered and gilt finish on a black marble base, has a balance beam crossbar in the top, rocking on a crossed suspension with faux piston balance weights on the sides. In good condition with no breaks or repairs, movement is wound tight and needs to be balanced, but should run. 7 in. high x 8 in. wide x 4 in. deep.
