A good late 18th century French ormolu mantel clock

The case surmounted by a woven basket of fruit and foliage over a pair of lions each carrying a swagged handle in its mouth on acanthus scrolls on an inverted break-front plinth, the 5 1/2 inch signed white enamel Roman and Arabic dial with gilt pierced and engraved hands, the large circular movement with pinned pillars and flattened base, anchor escapement with silk suspension and outside countwheel striking the hours and half hours on a bell. A late 18th Century French ormolu mantel clock with centre seconds and concentric date
Bouchet
Surmounted by an urn finial over foliage and berried swags on a reeded column to a stepped base and shaped plinth on adjustable turned feet, the signed five inch white enamel dial with black Roman and Arabic numerals framing the red Arabic date ring, with finely pierced and engraved gilt hands for the time, a serpentine hand for the date, and a tapering centre seconds hand, the large circular movement with deadbeat 'scape wheel cocked on the backplate, with pierced outside countwheel strike on a bell. Running and striking, with pendulum and a winding key. 44cms (17ins) high.

An 18th century ormolu-mounted Vernis Martin Wall Clock with Original Bracket
The waisted case decorated with flowers surmounted by an elaborate Rococo mount with flowing scrollwork and flower stems, with glazed pendulum aperture, on raised scroll feet, the 8.75 inch circular Arabic and Roman white enamel dial with gilt fancy hands, the signed rectangular twin train movement signed for Pierre Le Roy Hger. du Roy, with outside countwheel striking the hours and half hours on a bell mounted on top of the case. Ticking with the ability to strike, the strike hammer present but currently detached. Sold with silk suspension pendulum, and winding key. 72cms (28ins) high with bracket 104cms high (6)

Frederick Maus, Philadelphia, a late 18th century tall clock with automata, the mahogany case with paneled base on squat ogee bracket feet below a trunk with engaged, fluted quarter columns flanking a door with shaped top, the bonnet with four fluted columns, break arch door, acanthus carving, cavetto and dentil molded cornice, and deeply molded swan neck pediment with carved rosettes, urn and flame finials, and central reeded plinth with crown finial, signed roman numeral white painted dial with gilt spandrels, the center with date chapter, birds, and floral ornament, pierced, blued steel hands with brass date indicator, the arch with a windmill, the sails rotating as the clock strikes, a building at the left with black figure appearing in the doorway when the clock strikes, and a couple on a see saw above 12:00, rocking as the clock runs, 8 day two train brass movement striking on a bell, with cast iron weights and brass clad pendulum

A late 18th century EBONIZED STRIKING TABLE CLOCK WITH PULL QUARTER REPEAT
Signed William Hughes, Holborn, London
The case surmounted by a caddy top with brass carrying handle flanked by bud finials, glazed side panels with gilt fillets, on a moulded base. The brass dial with gilt scroll spandrels, silvered strike/silent dial in the arch, silvered Roman chapter ring enclosing date, mock pendulum and silvered signature plaque in the matted centre, with scroll hands. The movement with rectangular plates, engraved with foliate scrolls enclosing signature cartouche, five knopped pillars, twin fusees with wire lines, verge escapement with knife edge suspended bob pendulum, striking the hour on a bell mounted above the case with pull quarter repeat on six bells.
Size: 17 ½ in (44cm) high including handle.
