the case with moulded borders the white enamel dial with Roman chapters and subsidiary alarm dial, and with repeater button, brass swing handle, height 20cm, handle extended, together with a smaller carriage clock with floral chased borders, the white enamel dial with Roman chapters, 16cm high. (2)

the case with ribbed handle over an oval bevelled glass inspection panel on a raised base, the rectangular white enamel Roman and Arabic dial with blued steel spade hands, the cylinder platform escapement striking the hours and half hours on a bell, with original velvet lined travelling case with removable front panel and (probably original) double ended brass winding key, 16cms high (3)

A late 19th century French brass mantel clock. Attributed to Achille Brocot, circa 1880, having a 3″ Roman dial, the engine-turned centre with two-train movement stamped AB flanking a star and numbered 3554, the case with a break-arched top over scrollwork friezes and uprights, raised on cast bun feet, 12″, (30.5cm) high (Charles Allix records this AB stamp on carriage clocks by Brocot).

A late 19th century French cast brass wall clock with thermometer, having 4.5″ white enamelled Roman dial with moon hands, the two-train bell-striking movement with lever platform escapement, the cast case surmounted by a basket of fruit over zoomorphic foliate scrolls issuing flaming torches and flanking an ethanol thermometer, marked “THERMOMETRE”, with Centigrade and Reaumur scale over spiral terminal, the rear cast “DEPOSE” and “LG”, 24.5″ (62cm) high, sold with winder.
