Dubois French Empire 4 Columns Portico Calendar Clock. 6 in. silvered and damascened dial has black painted Roman hour numerals with open moon hands, 2 sub dials with French abbreviations for Day & Month and open aperture exposing the date, dore bronze filigree decorated bezel; round brass spring driven movement with deadbeat escapement, count wheel half hour strike mechanism with a steel bell, large quality gridiron pendulum, in good running condition. In a beautiful French empire 4 column case with ebonized lacquered finish, dore bronze trim, capitols and overhanging cornice top. 28.5 in. high x 14.5 in. wide x 7.75 in. deep.

French Empire Portico Clock. 3.5 in. porcelain dial with black Roman hour numerals, open moon hands and fancy dore bronze bezel; early round,brass spring driven French movement, has count wheel half hour strike mechanism and steel bell. In an ebonized, portico style case with spiral turned columns and heavily embellished with dore bronze floral mounts with swirled filigree and central medallions, fancy gridiron pendulum, with figural & relief molded dore bronze bob. Clock attr: to Louis Philippe (c.1840) and is in very good overall condition with only a few very minor losses to the mounts. 20.5 in. high x 10 in. wide x 6 in. deep.

In an ebonized wood case with 4 long columns having gilt bronze capitols, pierced filigree mounts and turned wood feet. Case surface has some cracking and losses to the finish, movement is not running, very dirty, broken suspension spring, crutch & bell mount. 17.5 in. high x 9.5 in. wide x 5.25 in. deep.

In an ebonized wooden case with inlaid, has 4 long twisted columns having gilt bronze capitols, feet and pierced filigree mounts. Has chips and cracking to the case, some inlay is missing. Dimensions: 20 in. high x 5.75 in. deep x 10.25 in. wide. Weight: 7.05 lbs.
