Marble & Bronze French Figural Mantle Clock. Large bronze figure of a woman, Pandora, seated on a plinth with lionÂs head on the side, she wears a loose dress and an open box lays beside her; on a dark brown polished marble base with bronze mounts and feet, unsigned. 5.5 in. black marble dial with gilt incised Roman hour numerals, gilt brass center and brass hands; large round French brass 8 day spring driven movement signed ÂS. Marti & CieÂ, has an half hour strike on a bell, in running condition, has key and pendulum, case is in excellent condition, missing rear door. 25.5 in. high x 18 in. wide x 9 in. deep. Weight: 69.75 lbs.

Figural Marble & Bronze French Mantle Clock. Has a white marble base with gilt bronze mounts & feet, pr. of figural winged maiden sphinxes sit opposite facing on raised plinths and hold the timepiece up between their wings, a figural nude maiden is seated on top leaning back and viewing herself in a hand mirror. 4.5 in. porcelain dial with black hour numbers, fancy gilt pierced hands and hinged door bezel with beveled convex glass; bras 8 day spring driven French movement signed ÂVincenti & CieÂ, has an half hour strike on a bell and a brass pendulum bob with maidenÂs head mount on the front. Bell is replaced, rear door is broken, marble has some edge chips, front mounted plaque is missing 2 ends and the dial has hairlines and a few chips around the edge. 16 in. high x 12.5 in. wide x 4.5 in. deep.

French Figural Bronze & Marble Mantle Clock. Dore bronze seated figure of a young girl beside a birds nest, she has a robe wrapped around her waist and tends to the bird on her right shoulder; black marble fluted plinth with gilt filigree trim, side corbels, feet and bezel. 3 in. porcelain dial has black Roman hour numerals with pierced hands; typical round French brass 8 day spring driven movement signed by the maker Jappy Freres and by the retailer A. Weygand, Paris, has an half hour count wheel strike mechanism on steel bell. Rear center foot is repaired with chips around the marble, rear door glass has a hairline and front glass has a few chips on the inside. 15 in. high x 10 in. wide x 5.5 in. deep.
