Condition:
The wall clock is in a good condition, consistent with age. The reverse case door has several larger cracks. The pendulum is missing. The glazing of the bezel is no longer provided. In places some applications bear blemishes. The surfaces (wood and brass) are partially heavier rubbed. The lacquered veneer has some bumps, cracks, blemishes, scratches and abrasion. The paint of the dial has partially been repainted. The timepiece has not been tested on functionality; this is however assumed; no guarantee on long term precision and regularity. The overall dimensions measure 57 x 42.5 x 11 cm.

He made the decision to become a professor of mechanics and for this reason his path led him to Christian Karl Andr, who gave him training in mechanics and mathematics. In 1804, BoÂek eventually went to Prague, where he wanted to study, but due to the lack of sufficient financial means he soon had to give up these intentions. Thus he became a mechanic and produced a series of models and tools for Stavovsk polytechnick stav in Prague. He also trained as a watchmaker and so BoÂek turned into a true Bohemian pioneer of tech
