A 19th century European weight driven wall clock with front mounted pendulum in an ebonised wooden case

The case with shallow arched cresting surmounted by a bell and hammer, over an arched glazed door and hinged glazed side doors, the 6 inch arched brass dial with five applied circular roundels, Roman and Arabic chapter ring framing the cross-hatched centre and gilt brass hands, the brass-posted movement with iron backplate complete with hook and spikes, verge escapement, front-mounted pendulum and outside countwheel strike on the bell. Together with three lead and one brass weight. 30cms (11 1/2ins) high (5)
