German Walnut Black Forest Wall Clock, Circa 1830, 8″ painted wood dial, 30-hour, wood plate wood arbor movement, typical early round dial, wag on wall with convex glass in brass bezel & alarm, very dirty as found, lacks weights, pendulum & bell. Height 12 1/2″.

Black Forest Figural Carved Wall Clock. 8 in. carved wood dial with black highlights Roman hour numerals, leafy center and pierced brass hands; round brass spring driven movement signed “Gott. Leuenberger/ Interlaken” with an half hour strike on a bell. In a black forest walnut carved case with wood paneled board back having and oak branch border, deerÂs head crest, standing figural putti fisherman on either side of the dial, one holding a spear and the other a shovel with fishing nets wrapped over their shoulders, below is a basket with carved oars, sails, hanging fish and a cutting board. Case is signed on the back ÂSesti & Brugger, InterlakenÂ, in beautiful condition with no repairs or losses, nice medium-light brown original finish. 32 in. high x 24 in. wide x 5 in. deep.
