Having a circular Paper over Metal dial with Roman numerals, held behind a double glass panel window, the lower half with eglomise painted decoration. Fit with a Time and Strike movement. Crosby, New York Burl Mahogany Beehive Clock, Circa 1852, 5″ original painted dial, 8-day, brass spring driven movement, an eye-catching light burled case front with a finely detailed original tablet adding to the classically aged painted dial, the reverse of this dial has an apprentice practice dial, preserved to near perfection with only minor veneer loss to bottom edge. Height 19″.
