Japy Freres & Cie French Bronze & Marble Clock: made in 2 pieces, the marble base is separate. The time and half hour bell striking movement is signed Japy Freres & Cie, Jx Deniere-1856. The 4 1/4″ porcelain dial is also signed Deniere Ft De Bronzes- A Paris. The case has a woman, books and scientific instruments on it.
(The dial has chips at the 60 minute mark and the right hand key slot.)

French Brass Clock w/Japy Freres Movement: time with half hour bell striking and a 4 1/2″ dial. The case has openwork with trophy top, griffins, dolphin heads, cornucopias and swags as decoration.
(Running, although time spring is wound tight. The dial is fractured all over.)

French Figural Clock w/Japy Freres Movement: the time and bell striking movement is also marked Brevete- S.G.D.G. and 7176. The porcelain dial is 3 1/2″ wide. The case is spelter with a bowman figure.
(It has been refinished. The dial is damaged. The man’s upraised hand has been repaired. There is no pendulum. The bell stops the suspension rod from swing.)
