Birge & Fuller Double Steeple Mantle Clock. 5.25 in. painted metal dial with black Roman hour numerals, black spade & pointer hands and open center exposing the escapement; Ives patent pierced brass 8 day movement signed ÂBirge & Fuller, Bristol, Conn., USAÂ, powered by a wagon spring mechanism in the bottom of the case, has an hour strike on a coiled gong and a brass covered pendulum bob. In a mahogany double steeple case with conical turned spire finials, turned bun feet, reverse cut glass and frosted floral basket door glass and lower tablet; signed on a paper label ÂPatent Accelerating Lever Spring  Birge & Fuller, Bristol, Conn.Â. In nice condition and original finish, running. 27.25 in. high x 13.25 in. wide x 4 in. deep. Weight: 14.5 lbs.

U.S.A. In a mahogany OG style case with reverse painted tablet in the door, original paper label in the back for John Birge, Bristol, Conn. Case has an original finish w/ minor veneer losses, some light wear to the reverse painting, minute hand is repaired, strike mechanism does not work; time mechanism is running properly. 23.25 in. high x 14 in. wide x 4 in. deep.
