Waterbury Rosewood Weight Driven Clock

Weight driven regulator clock has an 11.5 in. painted metal dial with black Roman hour numerals, sub seconds dial and blued hands; brass 8 day time only weight driven movement has brass plates, maintaining power, brass pulley, iron weight and long wood pendulum stick with brass bob hanging from and inverted “T” suspension. Rosewood long drop case has a hinged door bezel with original wavy glass and original reverse gold and black reverse painted tablet. Dial is replaced, case is refinished, pendulum stick is over painted black with some original gold still visible and replaced weight baffle. 32.25 in. high x 14.5 in. wide x 4 in. deep. Weight: 18.5 lbs.

Seth Thomas Rosewood #1 Weight Driven Clock: In a rosewood veneered case, this all original clock has a TO movement; a painted metal dial with 2nds bit and the pendulum. The door reads “SUPT’S. OFFICE” and “REGULATOR”. There is a good interior label.

Not tested.

(There is a small crack in the glass on the door. There is some veneer loss to the bottom of the door.)

In a rosewood long drop-octagon wall hanging case with gold and black reverse painted lower tablet. Dial repainted, replaced movement, replaced tablet, weight damage in bottom of case which has an enhanced original finish. 33.25″ high x 15.5″ wide x 5″ deep. Weight: 20.5 lbs.
