An Art Deco marble mantle clock by Japy Freres, Paris, retailed by Lebrun, Yvetot. Having a 3.5″ (9cm) silvered lozenge shaped Arabic dial inscribed ‘LEBRUN YVETOT’, the two-train movement with number 12001 and Japy Freres exhibition stamp, outside countwheel striking on a bell, the case with shaped dial housing flanked by Spelter figures of a seated boy and girl, he with pan-pipes, she with book, on plinth base, 17″ wide x 8.75″ high (43cm x 22cm)

Singed Limousin Deco Mantle Clock. Metal figure of a nude woman being carried on the top of a rolling wave, a pair of seagulls fly among the waves below her; on a black marble and green onyx base, signed Limousin. Has a 4 in. square, painted metal dial with black hour numbers; brass time only spring driven movement, has a good balance wheel which swings freely with nice brisk motion. Clock is running, missing one of the seagull figures. 14.5 in. high x 27 in. wide x 5 in. deep.
