French Slate & Marble Mantle Clock: the time with half hour gong striking movement is numbered 2208. The dial with visible escapement is 6″ wide and made of slate. The case has gray marble highlights and applied bronze decorations and handles. The handles have lady masks, a Roman head is at the top and lion mask at the bottom.
(Nice looking, except for a bottom left corner chip. The movement is not working, wound tight and ran fast at 3 minute intervals, 12 about 10 seconds. The escapement is missing one red peg.)

French Slate Mantle Clock: the time with bell strike movement is numbered 68187. The black ring dial is 4″ wide. The slate case has 5 metal columsn on each side. Above the dial is an in relief scene of Roman soldiers, other people and animals. Below the dial is a brass plaque with a 1902 presentation.
(Has no hands or key. The slate has a scattering of small chips. One larger chip is on the front edge of the top left side.)

French Time Only Slate Mantle Clock: the movement is marked with crossed arrows. More than one company used the crossed arrow mark. The celluloid ring dial with brass center is 4 1/2″ wide. Slate case with engraved designs and inset marble pieces.
(Not running; no pendulum; the pendulum holder inside is bent on an angle. The case has scattered chips.)
