Pr. 2 piece candlesticks with seated woman and young boy on one, seated man and young girl on the other, 3 serpentine candle arms with center post decorated with applied floral design, painted birds & insects on the base. The case is allover decorated with applied floral & filigree design and has a 4 season theme with 4 figural putti, spring holds a bouquet of flowers, summer a wine goblet, autumn a bail of wheat and whiter is wrapped in a cloak warming by a fire. Candlesticks are in excellent condition with no breaks, chips or repairs, clock case has repairs to the foliage around the bezel and a repair to the ÂAutumn figure; each is signed with the Meissen crossed swords mark. 3.5 in. silvered dial has black hour numbers, black spade & pointer hands, signed ÂBlack, Starr & FrostÂ, brass door bezel with convex glass; has a French brass spring driven time only balance wheel & platform 20th C.movement, not running. 18.5 in. high x 12 in. wide x 6.5 in. deep.
Attr: Meissen Figural Porcelain Clock Case. Elaborate clock tower with arched center, figural winged angel on top holding and urn, standing maidens playing violins on either side, seated maidens in the front playing a lyre, the other plays a mandolin and the case stands on figural sphinx front feet; has a built in 4 in. porcelain dial. In excellent condition, the only visible damage is that the mandolin is broken from the maidenÂs lap, hands, fingers & arms are in good condition. Signed with a blue crossed line mark over ÂFr. on the bottom of the case. 29 in. high x 22 in. wide x 7 in. deep.

Gilbert No. 411 Blue Porcelain Mantel Clock: With an 8 day with 1/2 hour gong strike movement. The case is dark cobalt blue glazed with gold paint highlights. It is floral painted with enamel highlights and a small cottage scene. There are lion masks on the upper shoulders of the clock.
The clock is running and striking at this time.
