Moreau titled – Le Char de Jeunesse – The Chariot of Youth, depicts a woman standing in a chariot with cupid. Has a 3 in. porcelain dial with Arabic hour numbers, painted roses, signed Luppens & Co. and has pierced trefoil hands, fancy brass bezel with beveled glass. Typical round French brass L. Marti movement signed H. Luppens, Paris; strikes on a bell. Complete with matching candelabras having an urn shape with onyx base and 5 candle holders on top. In very good condition. 30 in. high

French Bronze Figural Mantle Clock. Dore bronze figure of a man playing a lyre and seated on a boulder, on the other side of the boulder stands a woman playing castanets. 3 in. brass dial signed “A. Dorant, St. Jean d’Angley”, round French brass 8 day spring driven movement signed S. Marti, has an half hour bell strike. Clock is missing bell and pendulum, female figure is missing her castanets, front door bezel missing its crystal; movement is in very nice overall condition, running and striking. 20 in. high x 14 in. wide x 5.25 in. deep. Weight: 27.75 lbs.

Large bronze figure of a woman, Pandora, seated on a plinth with lion’s head on the side, she wears a loose dress and an open box lays beside her; on a dark brown polished marble base with bronze mounts and feet, unsigned. 5.5 in. black marble dial with gilt incised Roman hour numerals, gilt brass center and brass hands; large round French brass 8 day spring driven movement signed “S. Marti & Cie”, has an half hour strike on a bell, in running condition, has key and pendulum, case is in excellent condition, missing rear door. 25.5 in. high x 18 in. wide x 9 in. deep. French Figural Marble & Bronze Mantle Clock. Bronze seated figure of a winged putti holding a large drum hanging from a ribbon, the drum rests on his left hip and in the right hand holds a hammer to beat the drum; has a beautiful gilt finish, on a white marble base with applied leafy filigree decorations and stands on turned feet. The dial and movement are contained in the drum, the porcelain dial measures 3.5 in. dia. With painted hour numbers and fancy gilt pierced hands; has a typical, round, brass, spring driven movement signed Samuel Marti, a half hour countwheel strike mechanism and strikes on a steel bell. 12 in. high.

French Figural Mantle Clock. 5 in. relief brass dial with porcelain hour inserts with black Roman numerals, door bezel with convex glass; typical round French brass movement with half hour bell strike, signed P. Letourneur. In a white metal case with large figural maiden seated on top of the clock tower, a putti stands beside her holding up a bowl of fruit, the large base has filigree design with claw feet and seated putti on the front corners. In good condition. 28 in. high x 21 in. wide x 8 in. deep.
