3 Pc Figural Clock Set. Black marble base has bronze mounts with figural winged griffins on the corners and a seated figure of a woman with spun yarn. Marble dial with gilt incised Roman numerals; brass spring driven movement strikes on a single bell, signed with G.S. centered with a fly over Medaille D’or 1867 – Georges Emile Henri Servant. With a matching pair of side figures titled Water Carriers by H. Ferrat on stepped marble bases with plaques on the front. In overall good condition, few chips to marble on side pieces. 22 in. High x 20 in. high x 10 in. deep.

Guilmet Figural Time & Strike 8 Day Mystery Clock. c.1880. Heavy black incised marble mantle case with brass handles on the sides and stands on brass feet. Has a marble dial with etched numerals and brass bezel, beveled door glass and gilt hands. Standing on top is a spelter figure of a woman holding a long pendulum with a beveled glass bob. The pendulum swings rotating the plate under the figure slightly and engages the escapement; the platform plate and figure are numbered 3779. The 15 day, half hour time and bell-strike movement bears the marks of Guilmet and is numbered 5707. The case and the movement are in very clean condition. 24.5 in. high

Heavy black marble mantle case with gilt bronze handles on the sides and stands on claw feet. 4 in. dial exposing the escapement with reverse painted Roman hour numerals on the frosted chapter ring and brass bezel, beveled door glass and gilt hands. Standing on top is a gilt spelter figure holding a long pendulum with a beveled glass bob. Brass 8 day spring driven movement signed with ÂGLTÂ mark for Guilmet, has a half hour strike on a bell, crank & stirrup escapement which is exposed behind the dial. The case is in very good condition; movement is in working condition. 30 in. high x 14 in. wide x 8 in. deep. Weight: 40 lbs.
