This Viennese Empire Figure pendulum clock was made in the beginning of the 19th century and captivates through the fire gilded casing with a decorative figural addition in Roman- antique manner. The clock features glassed mechanical clockwork in a fire gilt casing. On its right, the clock has a figurine in the shape of a general, who raises his arm over the clock holding a staff. Below the clock, one can find a frieze with a scene of a battle field. The art work has four finely chiseled feet.
The pendulum clock is in a very good condition with traces of age and use. The clock comes with a key winding. The Empire clock measures 46 x 34 x 11 cm (height x width x depth). The clock worked during a short-time test; long term precision and regularity cannot be guaranteed. (sku)
