Seth Thomas 30 Day Marble Dial Clock. 20 in. dia. white marble dial signed ÂSeth Thomas, Thirty Day with black painted hour numbers, fancy pointer minute hand with counter balance and pierced spade hour hand; has a quality brass double spring driven time only 30 day movement signed with the Seth Thomas trade mark, Graham deadbeat escapement, replaced pendulum. Case has a pine wood back body which has been repainted, dial is in very good condition with no breaks or chips, has minor inpainting in the numbers, movement is running.

Original 10 in. painted metal upper dial has black Roman hour numerals and is signed Seth Thomas, has blued spade hands; 8 in. lower calendar dial has 31 date Arabic numbers with cutout apertures exposing the month and day of the week, original paper labels on the calendar barrels, perpetual calendar mechanism is in very good working condition. Brass, spring driven, movement No. 5 7/8, signed S. Thomas, Thomaston, Conn. USA., has an hour count wheel strike mechanism with an iron bell, brass covered pendulum bob, in good running condition; dials have some flaking and inpaiting in the centers. In a figure eight style rosewood case with serpentine crests and turned rosette mounts; in good condition and original finish. 26.5 in. high x 13 in. wide x 4.5 in. deep.

U.S.A.Â, count wheel half hour strike mechanism and bell, brass covered pendulum bob, lower perpetual calendar mechanism with original cylinders and paper labels, in good working condition. Lower dial has minor inpainting. In a walnut case with figure eight door and turned mounts, original glasses, original paper label in the back of the case, original finish, very nice condition. 20 in. high x 12.5 in. wide.
