Henry Capt Grand Sonnerie Carriage Clock. 2.25″ porcelain dial signed “Henry Capt, Geneve” has black Roman hour numerals with 5 minute numbers, open moon hands and sub alarm dial; quality brass 8 day spring driven movement signed “Henry Capt, Geneve” and signed with “A.M.” and beehive trade mark for Francois Arsene Margaine, has a platform lever escapement, grand sonnerie quarter hour strike on 2 coiled gongs with quarter hour repeater and sub alarm mechanism. In a fancy polished gilt brass case with hinged handle, turned corner columns and beveled glass on the front, sides, rear door and top, viewing the escapement. In excellent overall condition, running and striking. 6.5″ high x 4.25″ wide x 3.75″ deep. Weight: 5.75 lbs.

Missing pendulum, dial has some damage at Â6Â, case has an enhanced original finish with little veneer loss. 8.25 in. high x 6.5 in. wide x 5 in. deep.
