Mahogany case, arched center, conforming beveled glass door, fluted three quarter columns, stepped base. Mixed metal dial with applied brass decoration, silvered chapter ring, Roman numerals. Unmarked time and gong strike movement. 14" h. x 11" x 6.5".

A late 19th century ebonised chiming bracket clock. Anonymous, circa 1900, having an 8″ break-arched dial, the silvered chapter ring with Roman hours, Arabic minutes and fleur-de-lis half hour divisions framing a matted centre, within cast spandrels beneath silvered subsidiary Chime/Silent and Westminster Chimes/Chime on Eight Bells dials, the movement with foliage-engraved backplate, striking on a coiled gong and quarter-chiming on a carillon, the break-arched case with flambeau cup finials over Corinthian columns, the sides with arched lattice tracery beneath leaf-capped handles on a cavetto-moulded base and brass ogee bracket feet, 19″, (48.5cm) high.
