DESCRIPTION: George-III grandfather clock featuring a gilt, etched dial center crowned with a name boss in arch: "John Amour Kilmares". Face has a seconds dial with a floral design and a tertiary complication above the "VI" mark. Movement casing is decorated with stars against a blue background and an arch pediment with finials and a column on either side. Pendulum is decorated with painted floral motif. Movement is fully functional; includes weights. From the estate of Palm Beach collector, Ronald Brown.
