DESCRIPTION: A 19th Cent. French Raingo dore bronze clock features in a dore patina, finely decorated with ornate patterns, Cherub visages and a cherub finial. Supported on the lower tier by mermaid figures, stands atop four bun feet. Stamped on the movement "Rainfo France Paris". Comes with original pendulum and key. French Raingo Freres Dore Bronze Clock, Circa 1845, 4″ excellent flat white enamel dial, 8-day, circular brass spring driven silk thread suspension movement, signed Raingo Freres, period Rococo, heavy dore’ bronze with burnished accents attached to bracket base, a very high quality decorative clock, suitable for a formal room setting, excellent condition with normal wear. Height 15 3/4″, Width 7″, Depth 7″.

Stamped FF and a French movement, brass base with side lights of Carmel colored stained glass beside the face, the upper section is a faux bronze image of a young woman standing beside a tree trunk encrusted in flowers. Enamel face in good condition, old if not original hands, the pendulum is missing. 18″ tall by 12″ wide. Easily circa 1850. The castings on this piece are excellent.
