Original antique "Fashion" Model #2 calendar clock, produced circa 1876 by Southern Calendar Clock Co. of St Louis. Two clock faces, one for time, the other for day and date. Hinged door with original 1877 manufacturer instruction to interior. Curved pediment with three bulbous finials terminating in points. Walnut veneer. Backboard stained by unvarnished.

Southern Fashion No. 2 Walnut Calendar Clock: In a walnut veneered case with a T&S movement; an upper dial marked “Fashion” and a lower paper dial marked “Southern Calendar Clock, St. Louis, Mo.”
The clock is working at this time.
(There is no pendulum or key with the clock. There is plaster residue on the back of the case.)

Southern Fashion Double Dial Calendar Mantle Clock. 8 in. painted metal time dial “Patented Dec. 28, 1875” with sub seconds dial original spade hands and silvered bezel; 8 in. original painted metal lower calendar dial signed “Southern Calendar Clock Co., St. Louis, MO” has 31 date numbers with cutouts exposing the Day & Month cylinders. Brass 8 day spring driven movement signed “Manufactured by Seth Thomas – Solely for The Southern Calendar Clock Co.”, has Graham deadbeat escapement, countwheel hour strike on a large 4 in. brass bell, brass covered pendulum bob on original hanger; in a carved walnut case with turned finials, turned side columns and reverse gilt lead decorated “Fashion” glass. Enhanced original finished, time dial repainted, “Sunday & May” are repainted on the original barrel labels, month barrel is not functioning, pendulum bob is replaced, calendar dial is loose in its bezel, original finials and columns in good condition. Dimensions: 32 in. high x 16 in. wide x 5.5 in. deep. Weight: 19 lbs.
