French Boulle & Brass Inlaid Bracket Clock. 7.25 in. dia. gilt bronze dial with black incised Roman hour numerals, incised minute numbers, gilt pierced hands, relief center panel with profile portrait of Louis XV and gilt bronze mounts on the velvet back panel signed ÂCoquerel, ParisÂ. Square brass 8 day spring driven movement signed ÂG.V. – 555Â has a Brocot escapement, quarter hour strike on 2 coiled gongs and is in running condition. In a wonderful case with fancy brass filigree inlaid into tortoise shell and bronze mounts, Eight fleur de lis finials and figural horses laying down supporting the case on the base. In very nice condition with a lacquered finish. 28.5 in. high x 19 in. wide x 10 in. deep. Weight: 33.75 lbs.
