On the round frame inside the hinged door is the notation Pat May 10, 1859, cast iron front with columns, scrolls and leaves, old label on the inside that is hard to read but probably a Terhune & Edwards of NY, original face with old stencils on the front, partial address visible of 115 Lake, bottom hinged round door. 15″ tall by 10″ wide.

Unmarked Iron Front Mantle Clock: time and gong striking with an original 5″ painted metal dial. The iron front has heavily worn painted decoration.

(The springs wind is ok, there are no hands. The dial cover is not attached, although it is with it and has no glass. the glass view port for the pendulum is also gone. Some repair is needed.)
